| Imagine this: It’s the summer of 1969. You’re twenty years old, adventurous, and bored at your parents house in Long Island or New Jersey. Classes don’t start again for another couple weeks. All of a sudden it hit you, like a prophetic call of ESP ---- a rock concert! Or maybe that was the radio ad.
This summer marks the 40th anniversary of the famous Woodstinkâ event: three days of peace, music and no showers. At that time, music filled the air, along with the spirit of social unrest. A time when the backdrop of war and the fight for civil rights gave a great excuse for upper middle class college kids to take a lot of drugs and avoid school and employment. Woodstink brought all these things together, and what’s more, it was a chance for the youth of America to cut loose on their inhibitions and get to upstate New York without having to stay at their relatives’ bungalow colonies.

Forty years later, though, the smell of mothballs on the old LP’s and formaldehyde on the dead rock idols might make it a little harder for today’s youth to fully participate in the ritual of bowing to this mythic event. Also, with the internet, a bunch of still photos of crowds of naked people and a scratchy soundtrack doesn‘t offer as much thrill as in the past.
Now try W o o d s t i n k:

Zeh is proud to allow today’s generation to fully appreciate the importance, impact, and accomplishments of the heroic people of 40 years ago who bravely attended a rock concert and continued to blab about it to this day. The bottle contains nothing less that the spirit of the time: a magical elixir, with hints of muddy soil, body odor, and dirtweed. Anyway, buy the stuff ! And keep rocking!
