Gentlemen:
You are the honored leaders of the institutions at the heart of the protection and the growth of this great country.
The business of your organizations is focused on the physical wellbeing of life, health and property of America. You might not be aware, however, that the source of all the physical success and protection of this nation lies in the connection of its people to the Source of life in Heaven.
I speak to you today because a grave danger is now facing America which you may now have in your power to halt. In the states of Washington, New Jersey, Maryland and New Hampshire, measures are being considered that touch on the destiny of this nation. I refer to the efforts underway regarding the issue of civil marriages.
While you are not political leaders, your position on this matter is of great consequence. No single issue has the potential to upset the order of society and stoke irrational and destructive behaviors more than the issue of changing marriage. Your business models could potentially be thrown in complete disarray from these changes.
You have at your disposal the very best information and the brightest minds analyzing it. But one source of information has, unfortunately, gone overlooked. There is One G-d Who oversees and rewards and punishes the behavior of human beings. He has given His orders to mankind in the Torah that He entrusted to the Jewish people.
Homosexual conduct is forbidden to all human beings. It is physically, socially and societally destructive. Thousands of years of experience has born out the fact that when improper relationships like homosexuality take hold in society, catastrophe follows soon afterwards.
“Marriage equality” has been advanced under the pretext of civil rights. This is a farce. There is no resemblance whatsoever between the union of a man and woman, who are naturally disposed to advance the species, society and nation by the birth of children, and homosexual unions, which can spread only disease.
Not only do these relationships differ in form from normal, man and woman couples, they differ in substance. It is well documented that homosexual couples overwhelmingly disfavor monogamy, even in the context of their allegedly long-term relationships. The incidence of AIDS is actually increasing among gay men in relationships, as they seek multiple partners outside the contexts of their own “marriages.”
I urge you gentlemen to summon all the resources at your disposal to put an immediate halt to the efforts underway to legitimize homosexuality through marriage. Our country, and your businesses, will be blessed though the greater recognition and establishment of an order consistent with the will of G-d Almighty as codified in His Torah.
Thank you for your noble efforts to protect this great nation. May G-d Almighty grant you tranquility, blessing and success in accordance with your efforts to uphold His will.
