Honorable Senators:
The success and protection of the people of the great state of New Jersey are in your hands.
Today I speak to the Honorable Senators to offer the strength of encouragement. There is a deep mission and purpose for every human being. The only true test that we are given is whether we have the courage to stand up and fulfill it.
The matter that will be put before you to vote this afternoon is not about civil rights, property rights, or legal titles. Marriage is the institution G-d Almighty designed to bring new souls into this world. Changing the meaning of marriage is not just semantics. A vote to change marriage is tantamount to snuffing out the spark of potential for the next generation of children.
To put homosexual relationships legally on equal par with normal couples will send a bad message to the next generation. A large number of children who may be uncertain about their sexual desires will become more risky, more experimental and ultimately more miserable, diseased and destructive, G-d forbid. The guidelines for the full potential of the human spirit is contained in the Torah that G-d Almighty gave the Jewish people. Under no circumstances are any human beings allowed to engage in homosexual conduct.
Every child deserves to have a government that does not promote self-destructive behavior. Every child needs to be given as much chance as possible to be raised by a mother and a father.
But to put it differently, I will beg your kind indulgence to speak bluntly to the Honorable Senator.
Same sex marriage is a joke. If you buy into the garbage that the advocates and political hacks are dishing out on this, the butt of this joke is going to be you. The advocates for this idiotic premise are enthralled with their 15 minutes of fame which is about to come to a hard close. You’re a person of talent, savoir faire and common sense. Why flush your career down the toilet to play accompaniment to this suicidal grandstanding?
Summon your inner strength and repel any enticements. Vote no on any change to marriage. Protect the children, protect our communities, and protect your own soul along with them. You have the opportunity to acquire a real piece of eternity today by strengthening the respect for the will of G-d Almighty, who taught His laws through Moses.
